About Doctor

Dr. Rakhshanda Abidi Khan, MD, FAAFP

Dr. Rakhshanda Abidi Khan is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. She completed her Family Medicine residency through the University of Alabama’s Family Medicine Residency Program. Following residency, she relocated to Huntsville, Alabama, where she provided outpatient care through clinics affiliated with Crestwood Medical Center and Huntsville Hospital. In July 2021, Dr. Abidi Khan established her own private practice, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered primary care for individuals and families. She is committed to building lasting relationships with her patients, and to providing personalized, evidence-based care in prevention, wellness, and the management of both acute and chronic conditions.

Office Manager
Marian is our office manager. Otherwise known as “The Chaos Coordinator”. Marian has been with Abidi Family Practice since the beginning. Her commitment to Dr. Khan, the staff, and our patients is second to none. She possesses a welcoming warmth about her and every patient is a priority to her. Her many years of medical office experience is evident and ensures that every detail of the practice runs efficiently and professionally.

Can I get a same day appointment?

Yes, same-day appointments are available! Please give us a call to schedule.
If less than 24 hour notice is given, cancellation will be documented as a no-show/missed appointment resulting in a fee.
We accept most major insurances, If there are any services that cannot be covered by your insurance, we will be sure to let you know ahead of time. However, please call our office to verify insurance coverage!

ABIDI Family Practice DOES NOT offer any pain management or weight loss services. In addtion, we DO NOT prescibe any controlled substances. If extra clarification is needed, please call the office.
ABIDI Family practice DOES NOT aid in or offer worker’s compensation claims. In order to file one, patients must go through Occupational Health Group.
There is not a nurse practicioner currently on staff.
Patients must be 13 and above in order to be established as a patient under ABIDI Family Pratice
We do accept self-pay patients and fee schedule can be provided upon request
